This notice explains how Dumore collects, uses and protects your personal data. Dumore is a trading name of FLYNTCON, based in Warwickshire, United Kingdom.

Who is responsible for your data

Dumore is the data controller for the personal data described here. Day-to-day, that means Deon Moodley. There is no wider team with access to your information.

What I collect

When you complete the contact form on this site, I collect:

Your name
Your email address
Your business name and business type, if you provide them
Whatever you write in the message field

If you go on to become a client, I will also hold the information needed to deliver and invoice the work — typically contact details, notes from our sessions, and details of the systems and processes we discuss.

If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics collects anonymised information about how the site is used, such as which pages are viewed and roughly which region visitors are in. This does not identify you personally.

Why I collect it and the lawful basis

To respond to your enquiry — lawful basis: legitimate interests. You contacted me, so replying is expected.
To deliver work you have engaged me for — lawful basis: performance of a contract.
To meet tax and accounting obligations — lawful basis: legal obligation.
Website analytics — lawful basis: your consent, given through the cookie banner. You can withdraw it at any time by clearing cookies for this site.

I do not use your details for marketing unless you specifically ask to hear from me, and I do not sell or share your data with third parties for their own purposes.

Who processes your data on my behalf

A small number of service providers handle data as part of running this site and business:

Formspree — receives and forwards contact form submissions
Netlify — hosts this website
Google Analytics — website usage statistics, only if you accept analytics cookies
Email and accounting software used to run the business

Some of these providers are based outside the UK. Where data is transferred internationally, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as UK International Data Transfer Agreements or adequacy regulations.

How long I keep it

Enquiries that do not become work: up to 12 months, then deleted.
Client records: for the duration of the engagement and 6 years afterwards, to meet tax and accounting requirements.
Analytics data: retained by Google in line with their standard retention settings.

How your data is protected

Access is limited to me. Accounts holding your data are protected with strong, unique passwords and multi-factor authentication where available. Devices are encrypted.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

Ask for a copy of the personal data I hold about you
Ask me to correct anything inaccurate
Ask me to delete your data, where I have no ongoing legal reason to keep it
Object to or ask me to restrict how I use it
Withdraw consent where consent is the basis I am relying on
Ask for your data in a portable format

Cookies

This site uses essential cookies needed to make it work, and — only with your consent — Google Analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. The cookie banner appears on your first visit and no analytics cookies are set until you accept.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how I have handled your data, please contact me first so I can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
